“Wow”

Getting a guided tour of the Home Depot Center, home of the Los Angeles Galaxy, was an exhilarating experience. I walked through the stadium, and got a behind the scenes look at what happens beyond the walls. The highlight of the tour was going into the locker rooms. It was energizing to see where the players go when they are off the field and where the superstars change, attend team meetings, get interviewed, and all of the other behind the scenes part of the sports world. I also got the chance to see through the player’s perspective while they traverse from the locker room and step onto the field. Although I must admit that I am not much of a fan of soccer, it was invigorating to get such an up-close and personal look at a stadium where a sport is played that puts wars on hold, unifies nations, and is respected and recognized across the globe.
